The event, organized by Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, aims at discussing the most recent issues related to social network and freedom of speech, moving from Professor Marco Bassini’s volume "Internet e libertà di espressione. Prospettive costituzionali e sovranazionali”. The Internet Festival 2021 is a prestigious event organized by Fondazione Sistema Toscana and promoted by, inter alia, Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, Scuola Normale di Pisa and Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna.

Professor Marco Bassini will join the online conference "Libertà di espressione online e Hate Speech. Profili europei e pratiche di contrasto”, the first event of the series of lectures "Decennio digitale europeo: diritti digitali e intelligenza artificiale” held by the Centro Europe Direct Università degli Studi Roma Tre in partership with the Centri Europe Direct Roma Innovazione and Università di Siena. Professor Marco Bassini will present a speech entitled "Lo statuto giuridico dei prestatori di servizi e i suoi riflessi sulla libertà di espressione”. Professor Raffaele Torino, coordinator of the Centro Europe Direct Università degli Studi Roma Tre, and Alessandra Coppola, Vice-coordinator of the No Hate Speech Movement Italia, will also join the event.

LV National Congress of Notary “Pubblica fides nel mondo delle fake news”

Professor Oreste Pollicino will join the LV National Congress of Notary taking part in the discussion of 4th November entitled "L’elaborazione dei dati e la conservazione dei documenti: il petrolio del futuro?”. Professor Pollicino will discuss the issues related to the processing of data and the storage of documents in a debate with many voices that will include other eminent speakers, such as Maurizio Ferraris, Professor of theoretical philosophy at the University of Torino and Renato Romano, General Director of the Central Office of the notarial archives at the Ministry of Justice. The National Congress of Notary focuses on the issues of the public fides in the world of fake news and, during the two days of lectures, the several prestigious speeches will address numerous relevant topic, such as the origins of fake news and the solutions and the issue of qualified information and cliche in the social security system.


New Chinese Civile Code: a law for transition

University of Bologna and the Queen Mary University of London organized, with the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, an important online conference on the issues related to the recent changes in the Chinese regulatory framework. The first part of the event will aim at illustrating the new Chinese Civil Code “in context”, while during the second part the eminent speakers will address several specific issues, such as the contract law and protection of personal data.
