A combination of tradition and innovation, a vision for the future

DigitalMediaLaws is a boutique law firm founded by Giusella Finocchiaro, previously owner of Studio Legale Finocchiaro, based in Bologna and Milan, and Oreste Pollicino.

As distinguished professors with an international reputation, Professors Finocchiaro and Pollicino hold chairs of Internet Law at renowned academic institutions operating at the forefront of studies into the legal impact of new digital technologies.

The focus on civil law of Professor Finocchiaro is complemented by the public law expertise of Professor Pollicino: DigitalMediaLaws thus aims to offer a full spectrum outlook on the legal issues related to information technology.

Both founders have proven expertise in comparative law and EU law, where most of the challenges concerning law and technology have emerged within areas such as data protection, intellectual property, digital markets and services.
