Berkeley / ELI Transatlantic Dialogue on Consumer Protection Law

The recently enacted California Delete Act will permit consumers to instruct data brokers to erase their personal information online. Professor Oreste Pollicino will address the topic in the first conversation of a series of transatlantic dialogues on pressing issues in the area of consumer protection law, created by the UC Berkeley Center for Consumer Law & Economic Justice and the European Law Institute Digital Law SIG.

Professor Pollicino will join the ELI Scientific Director Christiane Wendehorst, who will discuss the GDPR’s “right to be forgotten”, and Emory Roane, principal author of the California Delete Act.
